Accountex 2017 welcomes accountancy professionals from all over the world to London’s Excel from Wednesday 10 – Thursday 11 May. The annual event is the UK’s largest exhibition and conference dedicated to the accountancy profession. Launched in 2012, Accountex saw a record number of attendees last year and this year is looking no different. For 2017, FUTRLI unveils a brand new theatre dedicated to Advisory services with sponsors IWOCA, Remarkable Practice, BlueHub and The Profitable Firm.

Accountex is back! The 2017 instalment will see over 6,500 accountancy professionals come together for the opportunity to gain insight and education in a live environment. The accountancy industry has seen a real shake-up since the introduction of cloud-based innovators such as our partners, Xero and Quickbooks and, with “bread and butter” services fulfilled by technological advancements there is a growing trend to invest the time saved into value added work.

FUTRLI soft-launched at Accountex, under our previous name CrunchBoards, back in 2014. Since then, we’ve seen a staggering amount of growth and diversification in the industry. It isn’t just this industry that is witnessing change so, as a consequence, client needs are changing quicker than most firms can react. Quickly delivering new services to remain relevant, or to gain a competitive advantage, can be difficult and may come up against resistance due to changes that must be made internally. However, this is now the core of every successful practice.

If you want to deliver advisory services that excite, grow fees and on scale, then join us at Accountex in our Advisory Theatre and at stand 1143. We’ll be hosting expert sessions to help you overcome the challenges you’re facing delivering advisory services. 80% of businesses are forecasting themselves, and this is your opportunity. Our sponsors, BlueHub, Iwoca, The Profitable Firm and Remarkable Practice, have been carefully selected due to the value they bring you in helping you to develop your own business.

FUTRLI Co-Founders Hannah McIntyre and Amy Harris discuss moving to advisory and the future of forecasting, while Managing Director Helen Cockle tells us how to deal with the decline of compliance. We’ve secured Remarkable Practice’s Paul Shrimpling to detail the most effective KPIs – remember, that’s Key Predictive Indicators – to measure in your business and The Profitable Firm MD, Karen Reyburn, to discuss how to get your advisory services on your clients’ radar.

Other fantastic features include Q&As and talks with industry leaders such as John Williams of ACCAJustin Urquhart Stewart of Seven Investment Management (7IM) and Caroline Parker of ITM Limited, announcements from key players in the accountancy industry, competitions, and much, much more!

This is a key event for any accountant’s diary. Expect a good range of attendees; many in practice (62%), in business (35%) and some from the public sector (2%). Make sure you check out the website in advance and plan your day. Spaces are extremely limited in the Theatre sessions so it is a good idea to arrive early.

See you there!
