Why we’ve rebranded
For some, this news might come as a surprise. However, for over a year, Hannah and I agreed that the name ‘CrunchBoards’ wasn’t helping us to define our purpose. Our ‘why’. The business continued to grow rapidly but while we tackled new user challenges, acquired customers, hired fresh faces and entered new markets, we became more and more concerned that the name was working against us.
Externally in the market, we were confused with being just another ‘number-crunching’ reporting app that focused only on data visualisation. Internally, it did nothing for our culture.
It took us a long time to get here but we are so glad we followed our own advice and looked to the future. We wanted our words to work harder for us, clearly and concisely, and now they can. We help our customers to forecast tomorrow, understand today and action a better future for their business. FUTRLI (pronounced Future-lee) is for our future. It helps to unite our growing team to deliver on our core values by truly understanding what they mean and how they are part of it. These powerful words will help us all to make the right decisions and stay resolutely focused on our goal.
Proudly plastered on the wall in Brighton, our HQ, is the quote: “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.” Change is never an easy process yet, we expect all our customers to embrace change, by investing in their future with a new, better way of working. If we were scared of changing ourselves, we wouldn’t be able to move forwards and inspire others to take action. This change is greater than just a name, FUTRLI is a better future for everyone.

Because this is true white labelling, we’ll provide you with your own unique custom URL which you will distribute to your team automatically via our invite process: e.g www.myawesomefirm.FUTRLI.com. This will be fully branded with your firm’s colours and you can also include your business Twitter feed as further personalisation on the log-in page. Bring on the future
We couldn’t think of a better way to start 2017. We’re still less than 3 years old and in that time we’ve invested heavily in building core functionality on a scalable development infrastructure to get us from year 1 to year 10. We’re always looking ahead and focused on tomorrow. Our rebrand and the release of white-labelling is an enormous milestone and marks our next growth phase. This is the end of our ‘beginning’ and the start of a very exciting New Year.
